Meeting mining industry actors in Chile

In March 2025, we conducted a week-long market visit to Chile, which included meetings with mining industry actors in Chile and a technical visit to Chuquicamata, the largest open-pit copper mine by excavated volume in the world.

During the visit, we also met other mining companies and actors and discussed future opportunities for collaboration.

A team from NTN, including the president and the production director of LNS, discussed how to implement Norwegian tunnelling principles in Chilean mining projects.

But we also had the chance to visit Estadio Nacional de Chile, where Chile played against Ecuador. It was a wonderful memory for a lifetime.
