Oppdatert: for 1 døgn siden

In April 2025, the Governor of São Paulo visited Norway to meet with the Norwegian tunnelling industry. The Norwegian Tunnelling Network, together with Innovation Norway, has engaged in discussions with São Paulo state officials to explore mutual interests in collaboration within tunnelling. The meeting was hosted by Sweco Norway, and together with Norwegian Tunnelling Network partners, we presented Norwegian knowledge and experience in tunnelling.

In the meeting, we learned about the opportunities in the state of São Paulo*, which is an area of particular interest for the Norwegian method of tunneling. São Paulo has a large and interesting portfolio of tunneling projects, and we recognize significant potential.

We share a mutual interest in future collaboration and feel confident that such a partnership can unlock substantial cost savings and advancements in tunnel construction, fostering mutually beneficial and long-lasting relationships between the State of São Paulo and Norway.
